Contemporary Istanbul 21st Edition

This year at Contemporary Istanbul 21st Edition, Villa del Arte celebrates more than a return to the fair, we celebrate our new home. With our gallery now established in Istanbul, we are exploring the city as a meeting point between East and West, where different cultures, histories and artistic languages have always crossed paths.

 

Our presentation brings together international artists such as Christiaan Lieverse, Mari Ito, Lluís Cera, Ron Mills, Claudy Jongstra, Iván Puñal, Annalù, Ger Doornink, Peter Reuterberg and Miquel Aparici; whose diverse practices create their own dialogue across borders, materials and ideas. From sculpture and painting to textile, digital art and mixed media, the selection reflects the spirit of Istanbul itself: layered, unexpected and constantly in conversation.

 

It is, in many ways, a small homage to the city we are proud to now call home.
