From February to May 2026, Villa del Arte Galleries proudly presents Día y Noche. Ritmos del Alma at the Real Jardín Botánico-CSIC en Madrid. This exhibition brings together art, fashion, and ecology, exploring how creativity can align with sustainability — from the preservation of native flora and the revitalisation of rural communities to reflecting on the environmental impact of residual wool.
On February 12, the vernissage culminates in a truly immersive experience through the audiovisual intervention of Iván Puñal, whose live music and visuals accompany a capsule presentation of Marcos Luengo’s designs, plus a performance by the Theatre Company BESTIARIO, creating a powerful multisensory dialogue between nature, art, and design.
The garments are made using textiles from the LOADS Collection, founded two years ago by Claudy Jongstra and her son Jesk Jongstra, the world’s first Demeter-certified biodynamic textile label. The label is dedicated to producing luxury textiles through responsible ecological and ethical practices, ensuring creativity does not deplete resources or exploit people.
María-Paz Martín, director of the Real Jardín Botanico-CSIC, will be opening the exhibition. Following the introduction, we are honour to present Mr. Roel Nieuwenkamp, the Netherlands Ambassador. During the evening, there will also be short talks by Marcos Luengo, Claudy Jongstra, and María-Paz Martín, Director of the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid, exploring the themes behind the works. Visitors will be able to enjoy guided tours and educational programs, and are invited to explore Claudy Jongstra’s artwork on display until May 17, 2026.
Día y Noche. Ritmos del Alma is a celebration of creativity, sustainability, and the seamless dialogue between nature, design, and cultural expression — an experience that invites visitors to witness a new vision of luxury, responsibility, and artistic innovation. Due to very limited space, the vernissage will be a private event.

De febrero a mayo de 2026, Villa del Arte Galleries presenta con orgullo Día y Noche. Ritmos del Alma en el Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid. Esta exposición reúne arte, moda y ecología, explorando cómo la creatividad puede alinearse con la sostenibilidad — desde la preservación de la flora autóctona y la revitalización de comunidades rurales, hasta la reflexión sobre el impacto medioambiental de la lana residual.
La exposición culmina en una experiencia verdaderamente inmersiva a través de la intervención audiovisual de Iván Puñal, cuyas música y visuales en vivo acompañan la presentación cápsula de las creaciones de Marcos Luengo, interpretada por la Compañía Teatral BESTIARIO, creando un potente diálogo multisensorial entre la naturaleza, el arte y el diseño.
Las prendas se elaboran con textiles de la LOADS Collection, fundada hace dos años por Claudy Jongstra y su hijo Jesk Jongstra, el primer sello textil biodinámico certificado por Demeter en el mundo. La colección se dedica a producir textiles de lujo mediante prácticas ecológicas y éticas responsables, asegurando que la creatividad no agote los recursos ni explote a las personas.
Tenemos el honor de recibir a Sr. Roel Nieuwenkamp, Embajador de los Países Bajos, quien inaugurará la exposición. Durante la velada, también se realizarán breves intervenciones de Marcos Luengo, Claudy Jongstra y María-Paz Martín, Directora del Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid, quienes explorarán los temas detrás de las obras. Los visitantes podrán disfrutar de visitas guiadas y programas educativos, y se les invita a descubrir el trabajo artístico de Claudy Jongstra expuesto hasta el 20 de mayo de 2026.

Ritmos del Alma es una celebración de la creatividad, la sostenibilidad y el diálogo armonioso entre naturaleza, diseño y expresión cultural, ofreciendo a los visitantes una visión de lujo, responsabilidad e innovación artística.
