Opening June 12: Ron Mills-Pinyas & OEOE by Anna Busquets
A Dialogue Between Art and Design
Villa del Arte is delighted to announce the opening of a new solo exhibition by Ron Mills-Pinyas on Thursday, June 12th, from 19:00 to 21:00. The show features nine new mixed media paintings that reflect the artist’s signature exploration of layered perception, memory, and the poetics of abstraction. Each piece invites viewers into a meditative visual field where color, form, and emotion converge.
Parallel to the exhibition, we are proud to present an inspired collaboration with Anna Busquets, director of the Spanish design brand OEOE. Busquets brings a unique collection of artisan handbags that resonate with the spirit of the artworks—handcrafted, timeless, and rooted in meaningful tradition and further enhanced by an intervention at the hands of abstract artist Ron Mills.
For this occasion, a selection of OEOE handbags has been uniquely intervened by Ron Mills-Pinyas, transforming each piece into a one-of-a-kind object that merges fine art with contemporary design. These bags are not only functional accessories but also wearable works of art.
OEOE celebrates craftsmanship made entirely in Spain, elevating age-old techniques through modern design. Each bag is handmade by skilled artisans, with a focus on sustainability, functionality, and aesthetic refinement. By avoiding mass production and embracing a slow, deliberate process, OEOE limits waste and environmental impact while offering pieces of exceptional quality and character.
This special exhibition offers a dialogue between two creative visions—one through fine art, the other through fashion—each grounded in authenticity, artistry, and enduring value.
