We are proud to announce the upcoming exhibition Llotja 250 – Contemporary Exhibition, hosted in celebration of the 250th anniversary of Llotja Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny. This special event will take place from June 6th to 20th, 2025, at Villa del Arte Gallery, located at Passeig de Gràcia 38-40, Barcelona. Following a private inauguration on June 6th, the exhibition will be open to the public from June 7th.
It will showcase a curated selection of works by renowned international artists who are alumni of Llotja School, including Jaume Plensa, Núria Guinovart, Noemí Palacios, Albert Espona, and Roger Coll. The exhibition will also feature works by other notable figures such as Isao, Lluís Cera, and Annalù Boeretto.
Additionally, the exhibition features a dedicated space for current Llotja students, offering them the opportunity to engage with the international art market and present their work to a global audience. Curated by Villa del Arte in collaboration with the International Office of Llotja School, under the direction of Jordi Guillemí, this exhibition reflects on the legacy of Llotja School and its profound influence on the contemporary art world. It is a unique opportunity to experience how the teachings and principles of Llotja have shaped and continue to inspire today’s leading artists.

Nos enorgullece anunciar la próxima exposición Llotja 250 – Contemporary Exhibition, organizada en conmemoración del 250 aniversario de la Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny Llotja. Este evento especial tendrá lugar del 6 al 20 de junio de 2025 en Villa del Arte Gallery, ubicada en Passeig de Gràcia 38-40, Barcelona. Tras una inauguración privada el 6 de junio, la exposición estará abierta al público a partir del 7 de junio.
La muestra presentará una cuidada selección de obras de reconocidos artistas internacionales que han sido alumnos de la Escuela Llotja, entre ellos: Jaume Plensa, Núria Guinovart, Noemí Palacios, Albert Espona y Roger Coll. También se exhibirán obras de otras figuras destacadas como Isao, Lluís Cera y Annalù Boeretto.
Además, la exposición contará con un espacio dedicado a los estudiantes actuales de Llotja, brindándoles la oportunidad de interactuar con el mercado internacional del arte y presentar sus obras ante una audiencia global. Comisariada por Villa del Arte en colaboración con la Oficina Internacional de la Escuela Llotja, bajo la dirección de Jordi Guillemí, esta exposición es una reflexión sobre el legado de Llotja y su profunda influencia en el arte contemporáneo. Es una oportunidad única para descubrir cómo las enseñanzas y principios de la escuela han dado forma —y continúan inspirando— a los artistas más destacados de la actualidad.
