La Setmana de l’Art: A Night of Art and Culinary Delights on 3 December 2024
Villa del Arte Galleries invites you to a unique encounter with sculptor Miquel Aparici, offering a private visit to his studio for an inside look at his creative process and imaginative world.
The event will unfold in two parts:
6:00 PM – GUIDED STUDIO TOUR
Get an exclusive tour of Miquel Aparici’s studio, where you’ll discover his daily routine, the materials he uses, his early works, and his artistic journey. You’ll also see his private library, sources of inspiration, collected objects, and the “secret world” behind his sculptures. Both Miquel Aparici and his gallerist Bert van Zetten will guide the tour, sharing stories of their collaboration and fascinating anecdotes from his career. The tour is open to the public, offering a chance to chat with the artist and explore his latest projects.
8:00 PM – EXCLUSIVE DINNER
Following the tour, Chef Roger Viñas from the Avenir restaurant will present an exclusive dinner inspired by the artist’s works. This original dining experience aims to bridge the worlds of art and the senses, with dishes crafted to evoke emotions and sensations similar to the pleasure of viewing art.
The dinner will be held in the artist’s studio, located on the top floor of the Freixes building, a New York-style artistic hub where over 30 creators work. During the evening, guests will also have the opportunity to purchase some of the artist’s pieces.
While the dinner is complimentary, spaces are limited.
